Cleaning at your kitchen sink just got better for our environment.
I have now thoroughly used two amazing products to get our dishes spotless.
When I am too tired to do it by hand (who am I kidding, is every night) I run the dishwasher. Recently I have switched over from Cascade to Method’s Smarty Dish. Mainly because of the ingredients.
Method’s Smarty Dish honestly gets the dishes spotless! I have used Seventh Generation before and spots were always on our glasses. So when I tried these non-toxic dishwasher detergent tabs I was very pleased. I was also pleased to learn that it is phosphate and chlorine free as well as only uses 87% less packaging than the other brands! Yeah!
Now, when I am washing our pots by hand I was always EXTREMELY IRRITATED because I could always taste the soap. I tried every product on the market, no joke!
No matter how many times I rinsed, washed with hot water or cold, the soap taste was there. Let me tell you, that is just gross. So much food went to waste!
I came across Planet Ultra Dishwashing Liquid.
Listen peeps, no more sudsy taste. That is enough to write about! Free of dyes and perfumes, hypo-allergenic, biodegradable. According to their website there are multiple uses of this soap- can be used to clean off waxes and pesticides off your fruits and vegetables; wash your car; wash your pet; even use it as a body wash….I’m not too confident about that one yet.
